Al Rannochan 2011....DONE

Lovely weather and heavy waves and a load of paddling and the AL Ran is done and dusted. Heavy hits, a move to the point and Scott going left...another normal day eh? Results to follow, in the mean time who fancies a pint down the Blue Groove?

Kelly's Richard Carter Style Cutbacks

During the 2011 Quiksilver event Kelly mentioned that he takes influence from whatever surfing he sees. This was evident in his Richard Carter (www.redwoodsurfshop.co.uk) style cut backs, absolutely classic, 1st pic below.

What Slats has to do to win no.10

- If Slater finishes Equal 3rd or better, he clinches the 2010 ASP World Title.

- If Slater finishes Equal 5th or Equal 9th, Smith must win the event to send the ASP World Title Race to Hawaii

- If Slater finishes Equal 13th or Equal 25th, Smith must finish Equal 3rd or better to send the ASP World Title Race to Hawaii.

- Essentially, if Smith fails to finish higher than Equal 5th, Slater claims the 2010 ASP World Title.

Scotland October 2010

Quick 6 day trip to coincide with 4 ft swell and offshore winds, and, a little sun! Some waves, some fish, lots of water, tent sleeping, whisky and water, my new tipple... Lots of open space, not many people, hills and lochs everywhere and a load of river mouths and bays. Can pretty much camp anywhere.
